Technical Description

AlpaExpel™ is a high-strength, flexible technical fabric developed for urban and prolonged-wear footwear applications. Its composition fuses natural alpaca fiber with technical polyester or nylon filaments in a highly breathable structure. The great achievement of this material lies in its fluid management capability: thanks to the hygroscopic properties and microscopically smooth surface of alpaca scales, the upper is able to expel 98% of perspiration water vapor by capillarity to the outside, keeping the foot practically dry and cool inside. It focuses on maximizing freshness and thermal control during activities that require walking or standing for very long periods.
