Technical Description

AlpaVeil™ Fabric is a lightweight, hybrid-architecture textile matrix, specifically developed as the foundational layer for technical apparel systems. The material optimally integrates Imperial Alpaca Fiber (the finest and scarcest selection of the fiber, with a diameter of less than 19 microns) with botanical TENCEL™ microfibers. This combination is knitted using a high-density circular knitting process designed to maximize mechanical softness. Its performance stems from its natural hygroscopic property: it absorbs sweat in vapor form before it condenses on the skin, completely eliminating the need for chemical surface treatments and ensuring a completely itch-free interface.
